Born in Toledo, Ohio Dr. Terry graduated from Thomas A. DeVilbiss High School in 1955. He then attended the University of Toledo graduating in 1959 with a Bachelor of Education degree. Dr.Terry then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry graduating in 1963.
After attaining his DDS degree from OSU, Dr. Nessif became a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corp. Dr. Terry was stationed at USAF Hospital, Scott Air Force Base Illinois from 1963 to 1965.
After his honorable discharge from military service, Dr. Terry returned home to Toledo and established his general dental practice in 1965. Dr. Terry has practiced general dentistry in Toledo continuously since his return. Presently that’s 48 years!
Dr. Nessif is an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Toledo Dental Society. In addition he is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Conscious Sedation Permit State of Ohio, and a member of the Toledo Hospital Dental Staff.
Dr. Terry is an enthusiastic Ohio Stater with memberships in the Presidents Club and Buckeye Club of the University. He’s also an avid golfer, fisherman, and a Jazz aficionado.
Dr. Terry has two children Dina and Peter, two stepchildren Steve and Sheri, and eight grandchildren.
